Smart or ethical geodata for Climate Change

Geodata plays an essential role in building resilience against climate change through visualizing and assessing the geoinformation into valuable action. Geodata primarily used in this arena do not go through much ethical “lensing” because it is marked as “Good for humanity”. The modern digital world needs to assess and understand moral issues surrounding geodata for climate change. In this presentation, we will explore through different international projects how we can conceptualize moral geodata.
