Due to plate tectonics, the difference between ETRS89 and ITRS/WGS84 is 0.8 m and growing, while sub-metre GNSS gets easier and cheaper. Most software neglects the difference for default coordinate transformations. This is problematic for applications like high-accuracy navigation of autonomous vehicles. How can we deal with this time-dependent transformation?
